Tarek Cherkaoui

Tarek Cherkaoui is the manager of TRT World Research Centre. He holds a PhD in media and communication studies from Auckland University of Technology (New Zealand). He authored several books and academic articles, including ‘The News Media at War: The Clash of Western and Arab Networks in the Middle East’ (I.B. Tauris, 2017). His research interests include media, strategic communications, public diplomacy, and news framing.
